Today was an uneventful day in our household.  Maybe that’s common for many, but not at our house.  In our home there’s often a meltdown of some sort. Yesterday was music class.  “I forgot my cornet for instrumental music, again.  The other kids made fun of me for using the teacher’s,” my son reports as

Freedom is a beautiful thing.  Freedom from judgment, ridicule, powerlessness.  Freedom has tempted me to reach out to the world and speak. Listen world, ADHD is a real thing and people who have it can be quite amazing. This is a whispered call to action.  Please stop being afraid to “label” kids, and “medicate” brains.
